15 Cars in Missy Elliott's Garage No One Can Afford (And 5 She Wish She Had)

Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott is an ageless rapper (seriously, she's 47 and looks younger every year) who first rose to fame in the 90s with R&B girl group Sista. She then became a member of the collective Swing Mob with her childhood friend and longtime collaborator Timbaland. Her debut album was released in 1997 Dupa Fly Soup was released, peaking at number 3 on the Billboard 200, the most successful debut by a female rapper at the time.

Then she sort of dropped out of sight. She has won four Grammy Awards, sold over 30 million records in the United States, and is the best-selling female rapper in Nielsen Music's history, but we haven't heard much from her since the early 2000s. Thankfully, in 2016, she released a promotional single on the day of Super Bowl 50, and as of July 2018, people are patiently waiting for her upcoming seventh studio album.

So what did she do with all her royalties? Well, she's a big car collector. In fact, her mother has even publicly expressed concern about the money she has invested in the collection, and that's what moms are for...to worry. But somehow I think Missy will be all right. She's still as popular as ever, appearing on a recent Skrillex track, and just this month, she appeared in Ariana Grande's 'Borderline'. So the fees keep coming.

Let's take a look at 15 cars that only Missy Elliot can afford and five of her friends' cars that she would like to own.

20 Spyker C8 Spyder

The Spyker C8 is a sports car manufactured by the Dutch automaker Spyker Cars from 2000 to the present. There are several options, with the C8 Spyder being the original base model with a 4.2-liter Audi V8 engine producing 400 hp. and a top speed of 186 mph. The car also appeared in the 4th season of British Top Gear driven by Jeremy Clarkson and The Stig and has also been featured in the films Basic Instinct 2, War and Furious 6. The base price of this bad guy will cost you a pretty penny. , nonetheless: $229,190 for a penny. Each car is handcrafted and Spyker takes pride in it, which is why they are so expensive and maybe why Missy Elliott has one.

19 Mercedes-Benz G-Class

Okay, people can afford one, but it's still an amazing car. No hip-hop artist's car collection seems to be complete without the G-Wagon, and Missy Elliott is no exception. These bad boys start at $123,600, which is pretty cheap compared to other cars she owns. In her song "Hot Boyz", she mentioned a car called "Mercedes Jeep".

We believe she was referring to the G-Class because there is no such thing as a Mercedes Jeep (even though it looks like one).

While the standard G550 costs just over $123,000, you can also get a G550 4×4 SUV for $227,300, which is a lot more! It consumes just 11 mpg, but in return runs on a 4.0-liter V8 horsepower.

18 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT

This is another car that is not too expensive for some, but is out of the price range of many (myself included). The Mercedes-Benz AMG GT is a new $112,400 car that has been around since 2014. Some changes were made every two years. In 2015 it was a GT S, a more equipped GT with a tuned 178 hp M515 engine. In 2017 it was the GT R, a high-performance 577 hp variant. and a 0-62 mph time of 3.6 seconds. The GT R starts at $129,900-4.0. The regular GT is powered by a 8L twin-turbocharged V456 engine and develops XNUMX hp.

17 Lexus LX 570

It's one of those Hot Guys cars that Missy Elliot didn't know too much about, calling it the Lexus Jeep. She really loves jeeps, but for all that, she doesn't own one. The LX 570 is still a very good high end luxury SUV.

It starts at $85,630 and has been in production since 1995, so it doesn't look like it's going anywhere.

For three generations, the LX-class has proven itself well, and different types of LXs are sold around the world. The one in the USA, for example, runs on a 4.6-liter V8 engine, develops 383 hp. and has been produced here since 2007. There is a supercharged version that is only sold in the Middle East and has 450 hp.

16 Lexus LFA

The Lexus LFA is a limited edition, high-performance model under the company's F badge. It was produced between 2010 and 2012, with a total of 500 produced. Toyota CEO Akio Toyoda saw the LFA as an opportunity to create a global icon for the Lexus brand with the LFA. The car was powered by an all-new straight V10 engine coupled with a carbon fiber reinforced polymer body. It had a base price of $375,000 and a $2012 circuit-tuned variant debuted at $445,000. Its 4.8-liter V10 develops 552 horsepower, accelerates to 0 km/h in 60 seconds and has a top speed of 3.6 mph. Car and Driver compared it to the Ferrari Enzo and Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren. In 203 it posted the fastest wet lap time on Top Gear with a score of 2010, three seconds faster than the next Lamborghini Gallardo.

15 Lincoln Navigator

Missy Elliot is clearly a connoisseur of luxury SUVs, and the Lincoln Navigator definitely belongs in that category. She also mentioned "Lincoln Jeeps" in her song "Hot Boyz", so those are three different SUVs that she mistakenly called "jeeps" and they all belong to her.

The Lincoln Navigator starts at $72,555 and has received some of the best reviews from automotive critics around the world, including 9.3/10 from US News & World Report, 4.4/5 from Edmunds, and 5/5 from Cars.com.

This large SUV has been in production since 1998 and was the first Lincoln to have been built in a factory outside of their Wixom assembly plant since 1958.

14 458 Ferrari Italy

The Ferrari 458 is indeed one of the most beautiful Ferrari cars of our time. It was produced between 2009 and 2015 and won all sorts of awards upon release, including Top Gear's Car of the Year and Supercar of the Year in 2009 and Convertible of the Year 2011. Motor Trend named it "The Best Driver's Car". This $250,000 beauty is powered by a 4.5 liter F136 ("Ferrari/Maserati") V8 engine with 562 hp. with direct fuel injection, a first for a mid-engined Ferrari. Its official 0-62 mph acceleration time is 2.9-3.0 seconds and its top speed is 210 mph.

13 Lamborghini Gallardo

Missy Elliott owns not one, but two Lamborghini Gallardos in two different colors. These cars start at $181,900 making them cheap compared to Lamborghini. From 2002 to 2013 years of production, it was Lamborghini's best-selling model with 14,022 cars built.

It was powered by a uniform 5.0-litre V10 engine and was a stable partner to a number of flagship V12 models, first the Murcielago and then the Aventador.

It was eventually replaced by the Huracan in 2014. Many variants of the car were produced, most of which hit 200 mph, with 0 to 62 mph times of 4.2 to 3.4 seconds. Their prices also ranged from $181,900 for the base model of the first generation to $259,100 for the special edition LP 570 Squadra Corse car.

12 Ferrari Enzo

Enzo Ferrari (unofficially Ferrari Enzo) is one of the most exclusive high-end supercars not only among Ferrari, but among all supercar manufacturers. This is the pinnacle and embodiment of Italian exotic technology. The mid-engined V12 car was named after the founder of the company and built in 2002 using Formula XNUMX technology.

A total of 400 examples were built, and one of them belongs to Missy. It's built from carbon fiber, has an F1-style electro-hydraulic gearbox, and carbon fiber-reinforced silicon carbide disc brakes.

Its 6.0-liter engine (5,999 cc) develops 651 hp. and can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.14 seconds. Its top speed is a mind-blowing 221 miles per hour. With all this, the car cost $659,330 when released, but they are now worth $3 million and up! Missy is holding a goldmine in her hands!

11 Lamborghini Aventador

Lamborghini Aventador is one of the most expensive Lamborghini you can buy. It was produced between 2011 and 2017, presented at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. By March 2016, 5,000 Aventadors had been built over five years, with a retail price of $399,500. There are all sorts of options too, like the LP 700-4 Roadster ($441,600), SuperVeloce ($493,069-$530,075), and SuperVeloce Roadster ($4.5). The Veneno was a limited production run based on the Aventador with a base price of $3.5 million making it one of the most expensive production cars in the world. The regular Aventador runs on a 12-liter V690, develops 0 hp, accelerates to 60 km/h in 2.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 230 mph! Missy traded in her 2005 Bentley Continental for one and dropped $30,000XNUMX as a down payment. The dealer wanted her to pay more, but that didn't happen.

10 Rolls-Royce Phantom

The Rolls-Royce Phantom is one of the coolest cars money can buy. So Missy Elliot doesn't seem to make a distinction between speed and luxury. She will take both. The Phantom starts at $418,825 and is powered by a 6.75-liter V12 engine with 563 horsepower.

So this isn't your grandfather's flashy car, this is a powerful, high-performance masterpiece.

The 2018 Phantom VIII uses rear suicide doors, or "bus doors", to make it even more spectacular. Unfortunately, the top speed is electronically limited to 155 mph and it takes 0 seconds to 62 km/h. This is a great car to show that the owner has a lot of money and power, so well done to Missy for purchasing it.

9 Aston Martin V12 Vanquish

Vanquish is elegant, powerful and sophisticated. Hell, almost all Aston Martins are like this, but they are the cream of the crop. This super grand tourer starts at $294,950, making it more expensive than many Ferraris and Lamborghinis. The first generation was built between 2001 and 2007 and the second from 2012 to 2018. It is powered by a 5.9 hp 12 liter V542 engine, an upgraded version of their flagship AM11 engine. It can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 4.1 seconds and has a top speed of 183 mph. In addition, it has one of the most stylish interiors.

8 Bentley Continental GT

The Bentley Continental GT is a Grand Tourer that has been produced in the UK since 2003. It was the first car produced under the new management of Bentley Volkswagen AG and the first Bentley to use mass production technology.

A new 2018 Continental GT costs $218,400, but a 2005 year like the Missy started at a base price of $159,990.

It used a 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged W12 that gave the car 552 hp. and a top speed of 197.6 mph. With a 0-60 mph time of 4.8 seconds, this car could really run. Too bad Missy ended up getting rid of it, but she traded it in for a Lamborghini Aventador and there's nothing wrong with that!

7 Lamborghini Diablo

The purple Lamborghini Diablo is a really cool car. Even as a child, Hot Wheels' purple Diablo made you want one of these beauties. Between 1991 and 2001, only 2,884 copies of Diablo were released. While not severely limited, it was the first production Lamborghini capable of a top speed of over 200 mph. Car prices also varied greatly, from $92,591 for a base model to $300,000 for a GT, and up to $500,000 for a modified Diablo VTTT. When Missy ordered hers, someone stole it on the way to her and ended up crashing into a curb, a sign, and a pole. The car was wrecked and the hijacker received three years in prison for theft, accident and damage.

6 "Bed Ferrari"

This is a truly unique, one-of-a-kind "car". And it reflects Missy Elliot's obsession with cars so absurdly. Do you know how kids had cool sports car beds when they were younger? I know what I did.

Well, Missy went one step further and bought a REAL Ferrari and turned it into her bed.

It had a TV under the hood and a shoe rack in the trunk. The TV slid out from under the hood and ended up at the foot of the bed. It's the perfect place for a big hip-hop star, and Missy knows it. Unfortunately, she sold her Aventura apartment in 2014 and we believe the Ferrari bed probably went with her. (The photo is not her bed, but another.)

5 McLaren MP4-12C Eminem

via wallpapermemory.com

There are other famous rappers who also have cars that would make Missy Elliott salivate. One of them will be Eminem's McLaren MP4-12C. The 12c was the first production car fully developed by McLaren since the F1, which was discontinued in 1998. 12C was produced between 2011 and 2014. Upon release, it cost around $250,000, which was about the same as a new Ferrari 458 Italia. It was powered by the M838T, an 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine developed by McLaren, Ilmor and Ricardo. The engine produced 592 hp and the standard 12C could go from 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds. It also has a top speed of 215 mph, which is 8 mph faster than the top speed claimed by the manufacturer McLaren.

4 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II Beyoncé

Missy Elliot may have a very nice pair of luxury cars with her Bentley Continental GT and her Rolls-Royce Phantom, but neither compares to Queen B's Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud.

A $1 million Rolls was given to her by Jay Z for her 25th birthday and it's her favorite car she drives. Talk about elegance, beauty and luxury!

The Silver Cloud was produced from 1955 to 1966 and was the main model of Rolls-Royce at that time. This classic masterpiece was powered by a 6.2 liter V8 engine and had a top speed of 114 mph, which was a big improvement over the first generation Silver Cloud. We want Beyoncé's Silver Cloud and we're guessing Missy Elliott does too.

3 Wyclef's Pagani Zonda

Wyclef Jean is a Haitian rapper who first came to prominence as a member of the New Jersey hip hop group Fugees. He is very successful and loves cars as much as Missy. One of his best is his Pagani Zonda, a $1.4 million supercar that was produced between 1999 and 2017. By 135, only 2009 Zonda had been built in the first 10 years. Wyclef owns a C12, one of the original cars. It was equipped with a 6.0-liter Mercedes-Benz V12 engine with 450 hp. It could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.0 seconds and could reach a top speed of 208 mph. It's one of the rarest supercars in the world, which is why we're sure Missy would love to drive (and own) one.

2 Bugatti Veyron by J. Cole

via blog.driveaway2day.com

Jay Cole is another rapper and producer who has a deep love for awesome cars. He also worked with Missy Elliott on the song "Nobody's Perfect", which featured Missy as an accompanist. The Bugatti Veyron is by far the best supercar you can own.

On a basic level, this is a $1.5 million beast that is both the fastest and most unique car on the planet.

When it was first released in 2005, it won all kinds of awards, and to be honest, I'm a little surprised Missy Elliott doesn't have one. Maybe it's even too rich for her blood! Whatever the reason, there is no doubt that this is a mouth-watering car that every super-wealthy star should own, if only to join the exclusive club.

1 Jay-Z's Maybach Exelero

The most expensive stock car on the planet belongs to Jay Z, the most successful and richest hip-hop artist and producer in the world. It's definitely fitting that he'll own this car (which he got when fellow rapper Birdman couldn't pay for it). They appeared in Jay Z's music video for the song "Lost One" and were commissioned by the German company Fulda to test the new Carat Exelero tire line. Owning this unique car cost $8 million, more than the entire collection of Missy Elliott cars. It is powered by a 5.9-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine and has a top speed of 218 mph.
