Keanu Reeves is arguably one of the most impressive movie legends to ever hit the big screen. His slow start began in films like Bill and Ted franchise (which will soon have a third installment in the works) and, of course, cult classics and originals On the crest of a wave in which Reeves co-starred with another screen legend, Patrick Swayze. His meteoric rise to fame began when he starred in speed, matrix, and, of course, its revival in some epic films of the modern era, including Knock Knock and the favorite of every gear, John Wick.
But besides all this, this person is very different from what he represents. In real life, he's introverted, and when he's in New York, he takes the bus and subway. To say that he is truly down to earth would be pretty accurate. There's no real pretension to be felt from this actor, and indeed, it's quite refreshing these days. What's even more refreshing is that he's avoiding any social media and just moving forward with his career like he always has. The publicists speak for him, as they always do, and when he confronts the fans, he is kind and rather shy.
So we decided to take a close look at his vehicle collection and by his own admission, he actually prefers motorcycles to cars despite how amazing he looks behind the wheel of a cool car like the Mustang in John Wick Join us as we take a look at its rides and bikes.
15 WIPER MOTORCYCLE
Well, Keanu is not just a fan as he also builds the bikes he loves so much. The bike shown here is actually based on his own design. He met with a local California bike manufacturer and together they created the very first ARCH motorcycle. His design was very original and Keanu takes great pride in making it. Known as the KRTT-1, it is powered by a V-Twin engine and is capable of 121 hp. The bike is definitely as powerful as it looks, and we wouldn't expect anything less from Keanu, a man who tinkers with engines in his spare time when he's not cruising tech worlds and realities saving the day.
14 FOR FERRARI FANS
We have to say that any car enthusiast, whether it is exclusively cars or motorcycles that he or she loves, must agree that everyone can more than respect and admire the titans in this field. For example, Keanu loves motorcycles, but we are more than sure that he respects some of the greatest cars ever created and produced. The proof of this is his own collection and, of course, the shots taken by a man like this one here, when he gets behind the wheel of this beautiful Ferrari at a local car show he visited some time ago. And we all know he'd rather be driving a motorcycle, but here he looks pretty excited no matter what, huh? I mean come on! It's a Ferrari, for screaming out loud!
13 BIKES IN HIS FILMS
It's no secret now that Keanu has driven some of the most iconic vehicles known to man in his films, most notably the Mustang in his epic film. John Wickor even Lincoln Continental's Matrix. Bbut to motorcycle lovers, the motorcycle he rode in the nineties classic, Chain reaction, perhaps the most notable. The film was about a mechanical student who becomes involved in a mystery involving some modern technology he was working on. The movie turned out to be an action movie and we certainly recommend it. The KZ1000 was a great looking car and there are many shots of the film where Keanu can be seen riding it, especially the scene in which he is trying to run away from a disastrous incident, who is fully determined to catch up with him. Spoiler: the bike is holding up great.
12 NORTON COMMANDO
Here's another example of the knowledge Keanu brings to his love of motorcycles. We are sure that many will simply buy a bunch of random bikes, regardless of styles, makes and models; ignoring the history of brands, and there are many such collectors, let's face it. But to this, we also say, to each his own. But Keanu takes a deep interest in us, especially when we look at this beautiful Norton. Norton was founded in 1898 and then relaunched in 2008. Keanu drives an older model, not one of the relaunched models from circa 2008. This is a 1973 Commando and this model is in demand by many collectors.
11 WEST COAST CHOPPERS EL DIABLO
And, of course, every motorcycle lover must have his own chopper. These days, many can choose from shredder manufacturers. Personally, I would probably go to OCC (Orange County Choppers) or even PJD (Paul Junior Designs) as they make great bikes, but Keanu chose West Coast Choppers helicopters and they are pretty well known for their El Diablo designs. Rock star Kid Rock has one, as does Keanu. It seems to be a throwback to the simpler designs favored by bikers of the late sixties and early seventies. Oh yes, we fully see the late great Dennis Hopper on this model, driving around in Prohodimets.
10 VOLVO 122
Now, if the dude who says he prefers bikes to cars actually has a few cars in his private collection, rest assured these cars are going to be very rare and impressive. For example, the car in the photo above. One of the rarest Volvo car models, the 122 coupe lives in Keanu's garage, and trust us when we say the car in question is a real gem of a gem. He restored this one here and it was one of his first cars when he came to LA in 1985. It has gone through many changes over the years and is still one of his most prized possessions—why not?
9 HARLEY-DAVIDSON DYNA WIDE GLIDE
Now we know that the man loves to ride bikes. It's pretty redundant at the moment. But how many bikes he has in his collection remains to be seen. We know that he developed his own model, and if that doesn't prove his dedication, we don't know what will - perhaps his inclusion of this classic model pictured here. Any motorcycle enthusiast can have a bunch of bikes, but the right choice shows everyone else just how much knowledge and wisdom a collector has, and personally we are wary of any collector who shy away from buying perhaps one of the greatest horses in the world. motorcycle history, Harley-Davidson. Luckily, Keanu isn't one of them, as the bike pictured here is safely hidden in his possession.
8 KAWASAKI ENDURO
Apparently, the love of motorcycles came to him when he was only twenty-two years old. He was in Germany filming one of his early projects when he was startled to see a woman walking past the set during a break in a Kawasaki Enduro. It was at that time that he became a real fan of motorcycles and vowed to buy the same motorcycle. It's unclear if he bought the Enduro for himself, but we're sure the bike has always been special to him all these years because he still remembers the exact moment he saw it. What about a woman? Was she just a passer-by in his life, or was this encounter more than meets the eye? Ah, the mysterious life of celebrities.
He's not one to shirk travel to promote the films he's in. That in itself isn't always the easiest part of being an actor and celebrity, and yet he does it, and with a happy face. his stoic features. This work ethic was reflected in his life's motorcycle production efforts. This part of his life is a bit more personal, but that doesn't mean he shy away from promoting what he built and designed. He's equally keen to get the message across that his bike is actually a strong proposition in the automotive world, and he shows just as much energy here as he does in the acting world.
6 PORSCHE 911
Even though Keanu is a self-proclaimed motorcycle aficionado and loves them much more than cars, he still recognizes a good car when he sees one. He is the proud owner of a Porsche 911 and is not averse to showing it off from time to time. But as you can see from this photo, none of his bikes ever fell behind. The Porsche 911 is one of the marque's most respected cars, and many enthusiasts are proud owners of one or more cars, depending on their financial standing. As it turns out, Keanu didn't mind spending, despite being known for his frugality and sensible ways of spending money. Hey, everyone deserves to go broke from time to time.
5 SUZUKI MOTORCYCLES
Even though he is sitting on one of his own motorcycles in this photo we provided, he is also a big fan of Suzuki motorcycles and has ridden them often in his life, especially when he was a beginner. Suzuki bikes are a good way to start a race, especially the more affordable models. Everyone knows that when Keanu first started, he didn't ride in the test, so we can easily imagine him scrolling through ads trying to find a good deal on a bike like this. This is how everyone should start their journey on a motorcycle. A used bike can teach you more about the bike and every problem will be a new lesson.
4 GOOD EYE
If the paparazzi take a picture of Keanu, then most likely he will be driving a car or, more likely, on one of his expensive motorcycles. But what can almost be guaranteed is that he will be kind. Keanu is definitely a cool guy, and you shouldn't expect typical Hollywood behavior like eye rolls or angry cries from some celebrities with members of the press. He always remains calm and behaves quite decently, saying hello or even answering questions, no matter how stupid they sometimes are. There seems to be no meanness in this gentleman's body, and we couldn't love him more for it.
3 JUST ANOTHER CAR
Despite being a huge celebrity, when Keanu can be seen riding a bike, away from the iconic characters he helped bring to the screen, he is said to look a lot like a regular Joe. In fact, sometimes he can merge with you, and if your attention has not been drawn directly to him for one reason or another, he can often pass you by. You've probably seen him there, filling up at a gas station in his vintage Porsche, or eating a Big Mac and French fries right at the next table, and you wouldn't know it. So, yes, at the end of the day, this man is as simple as can be, despite the fact that he likes to ride on the open road from time to time.
2 WHAT'S IN THE STORE?
He's proven time and time again to us fans that he loves to ride motorcycles and cars in his films, giving us all a glimpse of some amazing machines. And we hope this article has proven to you that he does a lot of riding at home too. We're only interested in what's in store for this megastar in terms of movies and the great cars he'll be able to showcase. We are waiting for one of his ARCH bikes to appear in one of them, and maybe we will see it soon. 1 MUSTANG BY JOHN WEEK
Interesting, but Mustang immortalized in John Wick the franchise does not appear to be in Keanu Reeves' personal collection. Some actors, such as Sylvester Stallone, love to collect the cars they rode in their films, such as the motorcycle he rode in rocky franchise and the Mercury Monterey coupe he drove in the 1986 crime drama. Cobra. But not all superstars are the same at the end of the day. Keanu seems to like to stick to what he likes, and while he looked pretty cool driving that Mustang in the movie, don't expect him to go to dinner in the same car. Sorry guys.
