20 sick cars Nicolas Cage blew all his money

Okay, this might come as a shock to any of you who know that Nicolas Cage has been in some pretty serious financial trouble over the past few years, but he does have (or at least used to have) a huge car collection. This is the guy who once had about (if not more) 50 cars! That's a crazy amount of cars. It's honestly not the craziest or biggest car collection, but it's still owned by Nicolas Cage, so it's at least a little crazy.

In any case, most of this collection (including a significant number of the cars on this list) was auctioned off due to Cage's insane spending. It seems like every time Cage was paid for a movie, he went out of his way to buy new mansions, cars, castles, dinosaur bones, comics, and more. He is definitely not someone you would like to trust with your money.

But who really cares about Nicolas Cage and his financial troubles? After all, this is not a celebrity site. This is a car site. So maybe we should start digging into some of the stellar cars from Nicolas Cage's collection. There are tasty treats. From a small army of Rolls-Royces to Ferrari Enzos and beyond to the infamous Eleanor from Gone in Sixty Seconds, Nicolas Cage has gotten his hands on some pretty golden cars.

So, I'll stop talking in this intro and let you take a look at some samples from Nicolas Cage's collection.

20 Rolls-Royce Phantom

For those of you who don't know about the Rolls-Royce Phantom, let's just assume it's the luxury of any Rolls-Royce, but with a lot more power under the hood. This thing may look like a boat, but that doesn't change the fact that it can move. And it appeals like a luxurious dream. Nicolas Cage was lucky enough to own one of these bad guys. However, to be honest, he has and has several different Rolls-Royce models. And I think that's why we both love him and hate him. And there is definitely a reason for jealousy ... except for money issues, of course.

19 Ferrari Enzo

It just makes me sad. It was once the fastest Ferrari on the market. Not right now, of course, but that's completely beside the point. It's a tough car with a powerful V12 engine that can hit 225 mph and put out 651 horsepower. It's a mean car. Nicolas Cage was also a very lucky man. It's good that he's so famous. Why? Well, because only 400 of these cars have ever rolled off the assembly line at the Ferrari factory. This says something special about the Ferrari Enzo.

18 Lamborghini Diablo 2001

I will always envy Nicolas Cage for this. Lambo Diablo is one of my favorite cars. Sure, it's a bit like the 90s, but... well, it's from the 90s, so why not? He literally worked from 1990 to 2001.

Of course, the one above is not the classic and amazing purple that almost everyone remembers Diablo, but that doesn't change the fact that it was and still is an iconic member of the Lambo family.

At the very least, I must say that Cage made the right choice by choosing this car. And if it ever or has gone from his collection, well, then I'll think less of him as a person.

17 Rolls-Royce Ghost

I have to say it's pretty crazy. And I don't think it's crazy just because Nicolas Cage has or had a Rolls-Royce Ghost. I mean, it's ok. It's a nice car, but I don't think it's as pretty as the Rolls-Royce Phantom. What's crazy about this is the fact that Nicolas Cage seems to have a huge boner on Rolls-Royce in general.

I mean, this is the guy who once bought nine Rolls-Royce Phantoms for absolutely no good reason.

It doesn't matter how many different Rolls-Royces you have...why do you need nine different ones? Have one Ghost, one Ghost, one Phantom, and then just enjoy each one. You don't have to buy one for each of your friends.

16 2007 Ferrari 599 GTB

This car was once owned by Nicolas Cage, so it seems reasonable to some people that they can make an incredible amount of money with this car. It usually doesn't bring in more than a couple hundred grand. And don't get me wrong, that's a lot more money than I could throw at a car. But the people who bought this car, formerly owned by Nicolas Cage, thought they could make $600,000! I'm not sure about this. I mean, it's a hot car. He does what you expect from him. Looks good and rides fast. But $600,000XNUMX just because of Nicolas Cage? Give me a break.

15 1989 Porsche 911 Speedster

It's a pretty cute little Porsche. It's from a good year, that's for sure. Not necessarily a good car year, but it's my birthday so it means something. Either way, this little speedster, given how much the Ferrari 599 was selling for, you would expect it to fetch a decent amount of cash.

However, the reality is that this former Nicolas Cage Porsche only cost around $57,000. I must say that this is a pretty low price for a car that once belonged to this crazy celebrity. I would have preferred other cars from his collection, but this one is not bad either.

14 1973 Triumph Spitfire

This is a pretty important car when it comes to Nicolas Cage. Why? Well, that's because the Triumph Spitfire was the very first car Cage ever owned. Good car for a first. I cannot imagine such a machine as the first. This may be because my first car was a 1988 GMC 1500 that I bought for $1,000. Well. We can't all have the privileges that celebrities like Nicolas Cage have. Of course, that doesn't mean much, since Cage sold the damn thing anyway. I know he has money problems, but wouldn't you like to keep that first and iconic car?

13 1971 Lamborghini Miura SVJ

The Miura isn't the rarest Lamborghini in the world, but that doesn't mean Cage's one isn't. The specific SVJ Miura is actually only 16 left worldwide.

Of those 16, only four were built specifically by Lambo.

The Lambo that Cage ended up buying was actually owned by the Shah of Iran, who specifically ordered the car. With that in mind, Cage ended up paying a whopping $3 million for this car, though on a typical day, it's certainly not worth that much. Although, I must say that custom winter tires must be quite expensive…

12 1970 Hemi Cuda Hardtop

Okay, I have to say right off the bat that I really love muscle cars. I think they just look evil. And who doesn't want the Hemi engine to roar as you race around in a classic muscle car. Of course, like much of the massive collection that Nicolas Cage once had, you won't be surprised to learn that Cage ended up selling that sick car. And I don't know about you, but it makes me think a little less about him. After all, it's a pretty nice car. I was going to say that he doesn't care given that he has so much money...but he doesn't and I think that's why he got rid of the car in the first place.

11 1965 Lamborghini 350 GT

Lambo has been around for a long time. This cannot be denied. And while they stunned people with their pretty cool cars, the 350 GT was arguably one of the most iconic cars of its time, and it really helped make Lambo legendary.

So, of course, Nicolas Cage just needs one of them. This Lambo is one of 135 examples.

So it's a pretty rare car. Now here's the thing...does anyone really know if Cage really still owns this car? I wouldn't be surprised if he sold that candy too. It's a pity.

10 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III, 1964 г.

It's pretty special. Mainly because this car costs $550,000. I can't imagine paying that much for a car. Although I must say that this is a pretty sexy car. And cool too. Well, one day Cage decided to rent one of those cars and it didn't work out. As a result, he owed hundreds of thousands because he could not afford to pay everything due to his financial problems. And that sucks, because the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III is a car you don't want to lose. I mean, just look at this thing. I'm happy with the picture on my wall, so I can at least say that I have it.

9 1963 Jaguar E-Type Semi-light Competition

It's a damn amazing car. I don't care what anyone says. I mean, first of all, just look at this! Secondly, only 12 of these cars were produced. Anyway, 12 real ones. And they were built specifically to outperform Ferrari when it came to the race track.

There is something unique about each of these E-Types because each one has been modified to do something special to beat the Ferrari.

Cage's car was equipped with 325 horses and had an eight-point roll cage. But Cage doesn't own it anymore and he probably never raced the damn car.

8 1963 Aston Martin DB5

How well do you know Hollywood cars? If you don't know anything about the Aston Martin DB5... you should. That's all I'll say. No, you know what? I have a lot more to say. How could you not know this iconic Bond car. I mean, first of all, this is a great car, and secondly, how can you not know this amazing Bond car!?

Anyway, of course, Nicolas Cage would like to have one of them. But of course, he probably can't afford it anymore. And of course it's sad, but it also means that now someone else can enjoy Bond's car. And it's a very cool thing, I think.

7 1959 Ferrari 250 GT LWB California Spyder

Sometimes I really want to say, "Wow, Nicolas Cage." And not even because of his terrible game. It's because of what an amazing car collection he has. And this car is one of 51 Ferrari 250 GT LWB California Spyders.

The particular car that Cage owned was number 34 out of 51.

Some of these cars have been created with unique touches to kick ass on the race track in different ways. And you might better recognize this car from something other than Cage's collection. One of these cars (in red) appeared in Ferris Bueller's Day Off... of course it was just a Mustang chassis with a copy of the Spyder body on top.

6 1958 Ferrari 250 GT Pininfarina

There are only 350 such cars in the world. So other than a pretty poster car, it doesn't mean much to most of us on this site. This is a magnificent hand built car that was only produced from 1958 to 1960. Of course, with only 350 copies, one could not expect it to last very long. That being said, given that each of these cars was hand-built, that's a pretty cool and productive two years of production. When it came out, it was a pretty fast car. But I doubt Cage ever raced this car at all. I bet he sold it though. It is now worth over $3 million.

5 1955 Porsche 356 Pre-A Speedster

This is a Porsche. It really doesn't sound like what you would think if you saw a Porsche today, huh? But it's still a sexy car. I would say the car is prettier and sexier than most Porsches these days. And I think Nicolas Cage thought it might be a little sexier than most other Porsche cars. I mean, he has a few cars in his collection (or had a few), but he still went back to the Porsche roots and got this cool car. I have to take my hat off to him on this one.

4 1955, Jaguar D-Type

Nicolas Cage bought this iconic Jag Racer back in 2002. And this is a serious car. I don't know how much Cage has really raced outside Leave in sixty seconds but he definitely had to open that thing on the track at some point. I mean, if you're going to be paying over $850,000 for a car, your best bet is to use this thing. Otherwise, you're just seriously wasting your money... which I think we know Cage really does. And can any of us be in such a shock? I mean, he's a pretty generous spender, at least he was until he lost most of his fortune.

3 1954 Bugatti 101

This is probably one of the coolest cars I've ever seen from Bugatti. I have to say that Bugatti doesn't really bring that with class these days. They are just more concerned with breaking incredible speed records, like they did with the Bugatti Veyron. Either way, it's a pretty expensive car. If Cage really wanted to earn some money to support himself, he could sell this thing... oh wait, he did. This car was sold at auction for approximately $2 million. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't pay that much for a cool car.

2 1938 Bugatti T57C Atalante coupe

This is by no means a cheap car. It costs from 2 to 2.5 million dollars. Now I love a cool car, but I'd rather spend a few grand on a Fairlane or a Bel Air. $2 million minimum for a classic Bugatti? Forget it. Of course, this means nothing to Cage. Or until he spent all his money on cars that cost hundreds of thousands and millions of dollars. As far as we know, Cage had two of these cars. But that's nothing compared to five Lenos. And Ralph Lauren had three of them. I have no idea why you need more than one, but that's what happens when there's more money than brains.

1 Eleanor

Oh this car. My God. I would like to have Eleanor. If you don't know what Eleanor should be... it should be a 1967 Shelby GT 500. In sixty seconds, it was not the 67 that was eventually used. At least not in the original sense. But it hardly matters. It's still a nice car that I wish I had in a garage that I don't have. Cage managed to get his hands on one of the few Eleanor left at the end of Gone in Sixty Seconds. And in this he was lucky, I must say.
