2021 Polish Register of Aircraft

The registry includes three Robinson R66 helicopters, registries SP-PSE, -PSK and -PSP (pictured), acquired by Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne.

At the beginning of the year, 3009 aircraft were included in the register maintained by the President of the Civil Aviation Administration. Over the past year, 210 vehicles were registered and 95 were excluded. Last year entries were presented: 15 Boeing 737-800 communications aircraft from Buzz (Ryanair Sun), 2 LET L410 Border Guard patrol and reconnaissance aircraft, a TS-11 Iskra training helicopter and 3 Robinson R66 helicopters of the Polish Electricity Network. The records included 1798 aircraft, including 647 powered hang gliders and 536 drones.

The register and accounting of aircraft is maintained by the President of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). The implementation of these tasks follows from the provisions of the Law of July 3, 2002 "On Aviation Legislation" and relevant by-laws (the main one is the "Resolution of the Minister of Transport, Construction and Maritime Economy of June 6, 2013 of the register of civil aircraft and signs and inscriptions on aircraft included in this register'). By entering into a register or entry, the identity of this piece of equipment is established, the owner and possibly the user is indicated, and their nationality is established. Aircraft are assigned an identification mark consisting of nationality marks and registration marks separated by a horizontal line. Three letters are given: airplanes, helicopters, airships, balloons and unmanned aerial vehicles (+25 kg), and four numbers: gliders and motor gliders. On the other hand, aircraft (specified in the relevant ministerial decrees) entered in the register receive four-letter registration marks, of which: ultralight aircraft begin with the letter S, helicopters - H, gliders and motor gliders - G, motor planes and hang gliders - M, motorplanes and paragliders - P, gyroplanes - X, balloons - B, aircraft of category UL-115 (up to 115 kg) - U and unmanned aerial vehicles - Yu. by type of equipment and painting place.

At the beginning of January 2021, there were 170 communication aircraft on the register of aircraft. The third largest carrier in the fleet is Enter Air, which operates 24 Boeing 737 aircraft (pictured).

On behalf of the Chairman of the Civil Aviation Administration, official activities related to the registration of equipment are carried out by the Department of Registration of Civil Aircraft, located in the organizational structure of the Department of Aviation Technology. Airline fees are charged for the actions performed. For example, in 2020, for carrying out the procedure for entering an aircraft into the register and issuing the relevant certificates, the amount was respectively: a balloon - PLN 58, a glider - PLN 80, a helicopter - PLN 336, a regional aircraft - PLN 889 and a large communications aircraft - PLN 2220.

2020 register in statistics

Last year, the Polish aviation register began operating on January 3 with the entry of the SZD-9bis Bocian airframe, registration number SP-4059, and a few days later, on January 7, Jak-12, SP-ALS. (1959) Oldtimer registered. Over 12 months, more than 500 different transactions were completed, including 210 registry entries and 95 deletions, as well as several hundred changes of address or ownership data.

122 aircraft were entered into the aircraft register, including: Boeing 737 (16), Tecnam P2008 (13) and Aero AT3, Cessna 172 and Diamond DA20 (8 each), and 59 were excluded, including: Boeing 737 (4) , Yak-52 (6), Cessna 152 (4) and Cessna 172 (3).

27 positions were included in the helicopter register, including: Sikorsky S70i Black Hawk (11), Robinson R44 (9), Robinson R66 (3) and Bell 407 (2), and 19 positions were excluded, including m.v.: Sikorsky S70i (10) and W-3 ​​Sokół and PZL Kania (2 each). In addition, one WAT Wabik unmanned helicopter has been registered.

7 positions have been entered into the motor glider register, including: Diamond H36 Dimona (3) and SZD-45 Ogar (2), and none of them have been crossed out.

37 items were included in the list of airframes, including: Schempp Hirth Discus and Glaser Dirks DG100 (4 each) and SZD-9bis Bocian (3), and 11 items were excluded, including: MDM-1 Fox (3) and SZD- 9bis Botian (2).

16 cylinders were included in the register of cylinders, including those produced by Kubitschek (6), Cameran (4), Lindstrand and Grom (2 each), and 6 were excluded, including: Cameron (4) and one Kubitschek and Aerofil each.
