The Gaz M20, also known as "Victory" or "Victory", entered production shortly after the end of World War II as a middle-class car that could be equipped by mid-level officials.

The production of the first batches began on June 28, 1946, but the GAZ factories began mass production of their car only the following year. "Victory" had a four-cylinder, 2.1-liter, lower valve engine with a capacity of about 50 hp, which was supposed to be driven by a car weighing less than one and a half tons.

As many of you probably know, the GAZ M20 also has a Polish map in its history. When the Polish government reached an agreement with Fiat, it began building a plant in Geran to produce cars under an Italian license. Stalin entered the fray and forced the Poles to break the contract and accept (supposedly for free) a license to produce GAZ. As it quickly became clear, the license was indeed free, but the documentation was not. Thus began the history of Warsaw. Both machines were upgraded independently. The production of the M20 model in the USSR ended in 1958. The car was replaced by the Volga M21. The car was produced in Poland until 1973.
