4Motion is the designation for all-wheel drive vehicles of the Volkswagen brand.

The transmission is implemented as a permanent all-wheel drive with a Torsen center differential (Audi A4, A6, A8, Q5, Q7, Passat, Phaeton ...) or as a drive with automatic distribution of the rear axle using a Haldex clutch (Octavia, Golf, Altea, Yeti, Audi A3 ...).
