Coca Cola

If you have a bottle of Coca-Cola at home, do not drink it completely, leave a part to remove dried insect residues from the car. This drink contains carbon dioxide, which is able to remove various pollution.

With the help of Coca-Cola, you need to do the following:

  1. Apply the drink to parts of the car contaminated with insects, wait 5 minutes, rinse with water.
  2. Prepare a soap solution and wash the paintwork from the sticky residue of Coca-Cola.
  3. Rinse the vehicle thoroughly with clean water.

The main thing is not to overexpose Coca-Cola, otherwise it can damage the coating of the car.

Laundry soap

You can simply wash problem areas with a sponge and laundry soap. However, it is more correct to treat the car body with it even before the trip in order to prevent insect particles from contacting the paintwork.

To create a protective film on the body with laundry soap, you need:

  1. Take 1 liter of water, a bucket, a bar of soap, a grater and a spray bottle.
  2. Grate the soap on a fine grater and, stirring, dissolve it in water completely, until a homogeneous liquid is obtained.
  3. Pour the resulting solution into a spray bottle and apply a thick layer on the front of the car, avoiding windows.
  4. Wait 20 minutes until the composition is completely dry and you can hit the road.

Upon arrival home, simply wash off the layer of soap and insects adhering to it with water.

Washing powder

Ordinary washing powder is also capable of cleaning various dirt from the body, but you need to be careful not to scratch the paintwork with grains. Therefore, before applying, carefully dissolve the powder in warm water, and then apply the solution with a car sponge on the dirt and rub it lightly, then rinse everything with water.

Glass cleaner

Pollution is washed off by various surfactants, which are found both in sprays for cleaning car coatings and in a regular window cleaner for windows in the house. Simply apply glass cleaner to dirty areas and wipe with a sponge. Repeat the procedure if necessary. Finally, rub the washed surface with a soft, lint-free cloth - it will add shine.

WD-40

To quickly clean the car from insects in a long trip, you can use WD fluid. Apply the product to the stains, wait 2 minutes, and then wipe off the soaked residue with a clean cloth.

WD-40 can also remove grease and dirt without scratching the finish.
