5 most dangerous roads in the world

The most dangerous roads in the world are often laid in the slopes of high mountains. Despite the life-threatening terrain, many people travel along these roads, including tourists who want to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Knowing how to drive and being careful while doing so is essential to a guaranteed trip. We must not forget that there are more dangerous roads than others, and we can never trust each other.

All over the world there are narrow roads with little infrastructure and very close to deadly ravines. Not all destinations have beautiful and safe roads, even the most dangerous roads in the world have a terrible reputation for killing many people, in addition to the fact that many of these routes pass through Latin America.

"Road traffic accidents in the Americas claim 154,089 lives each year, accounting for 12% of road traffic deaths worldwide." “Road repair legislation is key to improving and reducing road user behavior. Most countries in the region need to strengthen their legislation, address road safety risks and protective factors to bring them in line with international best practice,” the organization explains.
