Among the announcements of the Tesla Model Y, there was a lot of talk about new technologies that will be used in the car. There was talk, for example, about getting rid of the 12 V battery, because Tesla itself declared such a desire. Now we know that nothing has changed here - here is a brief overview of the differences between the Tesla Model Y and Model 3.

As the pictures show from under the hood of the car, The Tesla Model Y has a regular 12 volt battery.. To power the twelve-volt installation, it was assumed that there was a separate fragment of a lithium-ion battery; under the hood, between the front trunk compartment (front) and the windshield, there is a normal battery. It is also worth paying attention to the shape of the right wiper - in the Tesla Model 3, the lever is only slightly bent, here it is rather "broken":

Compared to Tesla Model 3, Tesla Model Y has no crossbar to support glass roof... In Tesla Model 3, it was located behind the front seats (photo on the left), in Tesla Model Y, the roof surface was not disturbed, and the headlights were shifted to the sides (photo on the right):
