Abus Pedelec +: a helmet designed for high-speed motorcycles

Although it will become mandatory in some European countries as of January 1, 2017, props maker Abus has just introduced a helmet designed for this particular segment of the electric bike.

Simply put, Pedelec +: This new helmet will be available from the beginning of 2017 and will comply with the NTA 8776 standard, which sets the helmets nomenclature for fast electric bicycles.

The Abus Pedelec + is more durable and safer than a classic bike helmet, absorbs impacts much better, especially at high speeds, and features an LED tail light, rain hood and chin strap.

Available in three colors - black, silver or blue - and two sizes (M and L), the helmet sells for 139.95 euros including taxes.

Note that Abus already offers a helmet designed for classic electric bikes, simply called the Abus Pedelec, and is sold on Amazon for less than € 100.
