ADIM - Integrated Active Disk Management

It is an integrated Toyota vehicle dynamics control, both as a skid corrector and as a traction control.

ADIM is an integrated control of electronically controlled devices that regulate the operation of the engine, brake system, steering system and 4×4 system.

This control allows for a proactive interpretation of road conditions and performance requirements on the driver's side, adjusting engine power delivery, 4-wheel braking force mode, power steering mode, and front-to-rear torque transmission as needed (controlled by an electromagnetic joint) ...

For example, in the event of a loss of grip while cornering on the front wheels, ADIM intervenes by reducing engine power, mainly braking the inner wheels in a corner to get the car back in motion, but also providing more torque to maintain power. to make it easier for the driver to maneuver and to increase the torque applied to the rear wheels (which have more traction).

ADIM is Toyota's state-of-the-art active safety devices, which until now have been abbreviated as VSC (Vehicle Stability Control). Compared to the VSC, ADIM works to prevent and prevent potential accidents by not only interfering with the electronic engine and braking systems, but also with the power steering and 4 × 4 control systems.
