Air T15: futuristic electric scooter on Segway Ninebot

The latest electric scooter in the Segway Ninebot range, the Air T15 stands out for its futuristic design and innovative operating mode.

In an effort to stand out in the face of ever-increasing competition, Segway's latest electric scooter Ninebot is playing the card of originality. Especially elegant in white, the Air T15 contrasts with other models on the market, offering a steering column and steering wheel with a particularly futuristic look.

All in all, the Segway Ninebot wanted to take care of its latest creation, taking care of the smallest details. Meticulousness extends even to the crutch, also white to match the body. 

Keeping its elegant design even when folded, the Segway Ninebot T15 weighs only 10,5 kg.

Seeming to be one with the rest of the steering wheel, the LCD screen displays important information for the user: speed, battery level, etc. To go further and access additional data, the car can be connected to the mobile app.

Original operation

In addition to design, the Segway Ninebot Air T15 also features an innovative operating mode. Without the use of a classic accelerator, it looks more like a classic scooter. To start the engine, you must give a kick with your foot. The machine then stabilizes the speed. To go faster, you need to give a few extra impulses. To slow down, the rear mudguard acts as a brake and activates the recuperative system.

An original device that would practically erase the weak characteristics of the car. Equipped with a 300W electric motor, the new Segway Ninebot electric scooter is limited to a maximum speed of 20 km / h. In terms of autonomy, the small battery does not travel more than 15 kilometers, which tends to limit the playing area.

Less than 400 euros

In China, the Segway Ninebot Air 15T will be available in the next few days with prices starting at 2999 yuan or less than 400 euros.

Its launch in other international markets, including Europe and France, may subsequently happen, a priori, through the KickStarter crowdfunding platform.
