Robert Bosch Academy of Inventors - Welcome!

Young inventors at 5! This is the motto of the fifth edition of the educational program for students of lower secondary schools: Akademia Wynalazców im. Robert Bosch. This year's issue has been enriched with a new element - the Akademia Online Internet platform. It will include never-before-seen popular science films about inventions and science.

Seminars for students organized at Warsaw University of Technology and Wroclaw University of Technology are a permanent element of this educational program. This year, participants will have the opportunity to, among other things, fly a drone, compete in speed programming competitions and build a wind tunnel on their own.

The program website has an Online Academy platform, where you will find popular science films that introduce students to issues from the world of science and inventions. In the first series dedicated to Polish inventors, we will learn about the history of the cipher machine, body armor and the secrets of the strength of the materials from which the inventions are made.

The Ambassador of the program is Monika Koperska, doctoral student at the Faculty of Chemistry at the Jagiellonian University, winner of the FameLab International global competition that popularizes science.

An invention competition is also planned for the participants of the seminars. Top 10 projects from Warsaw and Wroclaw will receive funding from Bosch. The jury will award the 3 best prototypes in each city.

Registration for classes lasts from from 2 to 13 February 2015. Faculty can enroll students by completing the application form on the program website. Participation in the Academy is free.
