Americans developed a six-wheeled pickup truck

American tuning company Hennessey has built a giant six-wheeled pickup truck based on the Ram 1500 TRX. The three-axle vehicle is called the Mammoth 6X6 and is powered by a 7-liter V8 engine. This unit was developed by the tuning studio Mopar.

Hellephant engine power exceeds 1200 hp. The standard Ram is available with a General Motors 6,2-liter V8 engine. Hennessey has also significantly improved the pickup's suspension and expanded the vehicle's cargo area.

In addition to the technical component of the regular Ram 1500 TRX pickup, the new pickup also differs externally. The mammoth receives a new radiator grille, different optics, extended wheel arches and additional underbody protection. Inside the car, changes are also expected, but details have not been released yet.

In total, the tuners will release three copies of the Mammoth. Those wishing to buy a six-wheeled pickup will have to pay 500 thousand dollars. The company will begin accepting orders for the car from September 4th.

Previously, Hennessey introduced a substantially modified version of the Jeep Gladiator pickup called the Maximus. The specialists replaced the 3,6-liter six-cylinder unit with a 6,2-liter Hellcat V6 compressor engine with over 1000 hp.

Another unusual American project is the six-wheeled Goliath pickup truck, based on the Chevrolet Silverado. Under the hood of this car is a 6,2-liter V8 petrol unit with a 2,9-liter mechanical compressor and a new stainless steel exhaust system. The engine develops 714 hp. and 924 Nm of torque.
