Step 1. Place the machine on jacks.

Step 2: Loosen the ball joint nut.

To gain access to the stem, you first need to loosen the ball nut with a suitable wrench. Loosen the nut and then remove it completely. Also remember to remove the locknut.

Step 3. Remove the link

You can now knock out the link with a hammer or ball joint puller. Start off with a hard hit on the top of the patella, then twist to complete the twisting. Your tie rod has been removed!

Step 4. Collect a new link

Start by screwing the tie rod to the steering arm and then reinstall the ball joint on the steering arm shaft. Now tighten the nut and locknut again.
