Aprilla, owned by the Piaggio group, has just registered the name of a new model that may herald the arrival of the first electric scooter in its lineup.

Today Aprilla is completely absent from the electric scooter segment, but may soon release the first model. This is reported by Motorcycle.com, which discovered that the brand had registered the name eSR1 with EUIPO, the European Union Intellectual Property Office.
