35 horses more and 100 kg less

The new Audi R8 GT should make it clear that it's time to put an end to the opinions about the overpriced sports car that can be heard here and there. The engineers decided to transplant the power unit from the iconic Lamborghini Gallardo under the hood. As a result, its power has increased from 386 kW / 525 hp. up to 412 kW/560 hp Thus, the designers managed to reduce the total weight of the car by 100 kilograms. The limited edition of 333 pieces makes it a real investment.

Weight reduction from 1625 to 1525 kilograms does not make the new Audi lightweight champion, but, as we are used to, supercars every gram counts. Thanks to the 10-horsepower V560, the car weighs 2,7 kilograms per horsepower, which is quite a respectable result.

To the city and to the races
