It is clear that the quality of such a vehicle will be very high - Americans are not poor people, therefore they do not skimp on various additional options, in addition, any automaker supplies cars to the United States in a configuration in which you are unlikely to find a similar model in domestic car dealerships.

But buyers are attracted by cheapness - go to Mobile.de (the largest site in Germany for the sale of used cars) and at the same time go to Cars.com and type in the search, for example, a Volkswagen Passat manufactured no earlier than 2010. The price difference will pleasantly surprise you. And on both sites you will see a lot of different modifications. True, the most expensive copies on the German site will cost about 21-22 thousand euros, and in the USA - 15-16 thousand dollars.

Do not forget also that the cost of transportation and customs duties must be added to this cost. But all the same, prices at American auctions are really lower.

There is one more trick - newer cars are also sold at American auctions, which have been out for no more than 1,5-2 years. True, these cars were rented or leased at rental agencies, that is, they have a rather high mileage - much more than 60-80 thousand km (this is exactly the average mileage of cars that are put up at auctions). But the prices for rental cars will be even lower.

The bidding process itself takes place as usual - next to any model, the start date of bidding is indicated, you can place your bid (Bid) in advance, and monitor sales online by raising the bid.
