The Aisin AW4-73LS 41-speed automatic transmission was assembled from 2004 to 2008 in the USA and installed on all front- and all-wheel drive modifications of the Pontiac Vibe crossover. This transmission is structurally no different from the popular Japanese automatic transmission A246E.
The AW70 family also includes gearboxes: AW70‑40LE and AW72‑42LE.
