Disadvantages, breakdowns and problems of automatic transmission 68RFE
This is a very reliable automatic transmission with a huge margin of safety.
With a rare change of lubricant, the solenoid block can become clogged up to 100 km.
Dirty grease contributes to the rapid wear of the oil pump and rubber cover
The pressure drop causes the clutches of the Overdrive and Underdrive packages to burn out
Also in the automatic transmission, failures of the electronic control system occur relatively often.
