The 6-speed automatic transmission Ford 6R60 was produced in Michigan from 2005 to 2008 and was installed only on the 4th generation Explorer SUV and the similar Mercury. This gearbox was created jointly with the ZF concern on the basis of the well-known machine with the 6HP26 index.
