In 2010, a new 4-speed automatic transmission appeared with the RE4F03C index according to the Nissan nomenclature, but in its essence it was only a modernization of the 4 RE03F1989A automatic transmission. This box was intended for significantly less powerful engines than its predecessor, and therefore Japanese engineers managed to make it a little lighter, more compact and much cheaper.

The hydromechanical machine, classical in design, has 4 fixed gears and a couple of additional modes: movement only in first and only in first or second gear. Torque from the power unit to the automatic transmission is transmitted using a torque converter. All design features are described in detail in the company's user manual.

Breakdowns of the first years
