The ZF 5HP5 30-speed automatic transmission was produced by the concern from 1992 to 2003 and was installed only on the most powerful rear-wheel drive BMW models under its A5S560Z index. Another such machine was found on premium cars Aston Martin, Bentley and Rolls-Royce.
The 5HP family also includes automatic transmissions: 5HP18, 5HP19 and 5HP24.
