Bentley uses stone trim, another level of luxury

In the 1920s, the production of luxury cars began, which were distinguished by high mechanical reliability.

Bently is once again making a big impact and breaking the luxury barrier. The automaker now offers interior trims using materials such as carbon fibre, aluminium, open pore wood and stone.

The automaker and its Mulliner division are offering a new way to personalize their vehicles for the ultimate in luxury.

Open Pore Wood Finish: Available in three versions, each with a unique tactile finish thanks to a protective layer that is only 0.1mm thick.

  • liquid amber (from mahogany eucalyptus)
  • Dark Burr
  • eat ash
  • Stone finish: The materials for this finish are quartzite and tile and are available in four different colors: Autumn white, copper, galaxy and terra red. Bentley, in order not to add too much weight, made the trim only 0.1 mm thick and this did not prevent the stone from feeling in all its splendor.

Carbon fiber and aluminum trim: These have a high quality finish, in the case of carbon fiber, Bentley notes that the resin used accentuates the carbon fabric.

As for aluminum, it has a three-dimensional texture that mimics a car radiator grille.

The other finish present is diamond cut to accentuate the dimensions of the panels (this is exclusive to the Bentayga). The various inserts can be dyed to the customer's choice, choosing from a variety of 88 colors to match the leather goods according to the customer's taste.

Bentley Motors Limited is a luxury car factory founded in England in 1919. In the 1920s, the production of luxury cars began, which are distinguished by high mechanical reliability.

The Great Depression of 1929 bankrupted Bentley in 1931 when the company was acquired by Rolls-Royce. Since 1998, it has been owned by the Volkswagen Group.
