BMW 320d
Here's how: Take the BMW 320d as a base. That means a 177-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine with 3 horsepower, a six-speed manual transmission, and steering and roadholding that most competitors can model for. Needless to say, the interior is sporty (so those looking for a place in the car and only then about everything else should forget about the XNUMX series).
We prefer to focus on what turns a "regular" 320d into a 320d for 45k. The lion's share of the surcharge is the M sports package, of which the sports chassis is an integral part. Considering that it will only be desirable for those who really care more about sporty road position, more precise response to driver commands and less body sway in successive corners, we can only recommend it. The difference is obvious, but at the same time, everything is soft enough not to shock passengers on the Slovenian bumpy road to the bone.
The rest of the M package is more optical in nature, from the rims to a bunch of M markings, but it's worth mentioning the good sports seats and the shorter, but in this case too short, gear lever that could pinch the little finger. when moving quickly and decisively. The leather interior adds 800 to the price (and, in all honesty, unnecessary), parking assistance about 160 euros, automatic air conditioning and a multifunction steering wheel about XNUMX (and for all three it is a pity that this is not the case. Are no longer included in the standard complete set) and then bi-xenon headlights, smart key, heated seats (very welcome) and much more.
In fact, there was only one piece of equipment missing that you wholeheartedly would like to see in this edition, but you can't get it at all in BMW? This is a self-locking rear differential. Well, you can't have everything, even if you pay half the price of the car's base price.
