Maybe because I don't hear clients with coins, but those who are called only for condemnation? But it doesn't even matter, of course, the question of why the X6 cannot be answered from this point of view.
But we can answer why BMW. Simple: when you, for example, get into such an X6 ActiveHybrid and drive away, you instantly know what they want to say with the already passed slogan "Driving pleasure" or the original German Freude am Fahren.
Every BMW, especially in leather, meets a particular scent that more or less convinces the most, with a technical or technological look, with materials that are mostly fingerprint-free, and design and workmanship. an eye and then a finger in a blink of an eye of quality, and finally, although for driving pleasure it comes first, with the position and the main driving switches. That's why BMW.
You don't even need to look back a decade to ask yourself: why not hydrogen, which BMW (in internal combustion engines!) Has long vowed to use as the driving force of the future? The answer is complex, but also simple: because this technology, which required huge infrastructure operations, did not prove to be timely, mature or appropriate.
The technology itself is already good, but in simple terms, the moment was not right. Rather, it is not yet real.
Okay then I ask why a hybrid? Because it's fashionable now? Maybe to some extent. Save?
Well, in principle, too, but hybrid technology is more here than the KERS formula, that is, for a short-term increase in drive power and, accordingly, a car. For driving pleasure. It is clear that this BMW is equipped with an excellent seven-speed automatic transmission precisely because of the hybrid technology, and when the driver steps on the accelerator pedal from a standstill, the X6 AH fires like a projectile.
Yes, this, of course, is a lot of exaggeration, but it would not be an exaggeration to write that passengers (as well as the driver) may have a headache from strong acceleration during several accelerations in first and second gears. We also (or especially) call it driving pleasure. Available, but of course it is not necessary to drive that way.
Such performance, of course, can be achieved with a more powerful gasoline or diesel engine, but then we will talk about completely different figures for fuel consumption. I deliberately start (or end) from this side. If I started with numbers (on consumption), everyone would consider it big and wonder why the X6 hybridized.
However, since we are familiar with the baseline first, it is easier to imagine what the fuel savings are. It must always be remembered that "langsam fahren, Kraftstoff Sparen" * is not Freude am Fahren.
If you imagine the described possibilities at least in strength, and if you look for a moment between the numbers talking about the mass and the front surface of the X6, then on the highway it may seem 15 liters per 100 kilometers (the cruise control set at 140 kilometers per hour, without braking and overclocking) is quite a decent number. In Freud am Fahren, this number almost instantly rises to 22 or more, and with moderate driving in the countryside, it drops to 13.
The hybrid technology created in this way (or, to put it a little like the KERS hotel) is not particularly interested in fuel economy, since with moderate driving with too little gasoline there is not enough energy to charge the extra battery needed by the KERS. driving assistance. This battery is relatively small and can be recharged quickly.
The fastest way to do this is on a country road at high speed, where you often have to brake. However, the process is just as fast as in reverse: with a lot of help, the battery also drains quickly. Even if you are driving at about 50 kilometers per hour (using cruise control to avoid a hard kick from the driver) and go uphill a bit, the extra battery will run out after about a kilometer and thus cannot help.
However, at least for the personal satisfaction of the driver, it's nice to know that at around 200 kilometers per hour and with a full battery when the gas is on, such an X6 starts up like the average Slovenian car at 80.
There is also a special feeling of comfort when (again with a sufficiently charged battery) the X6 AH is taken out of the city by electricity alone. All the mass of the car, which the driver feels, moves effortlessly and in complete silence, only at the sound of the tire sticking to the asphalt, and slowly accelerates.
Each slightly faster acceleration starts the petrol engine, but the electronics can also shut it off when the car is moving evenly (and when the battery is fully charged, when there is no lean and when there is no strong wind) up to 60 kilometers per hour.
Here we again touch on the question of why BMW. Because they know how to tame hybrid technology so that the driver does not feel the petrol engine momentarily turn on and off, and the hybrid assistance does not turn on and off, whether the road is flat or winding, the ride is smooth and calm or dynamic, and wild. The invisible operation also applies to the Stop & Start system and to the activation and deactivation of brake energy regeneration. Irreproachable. In short: that's why BMW.
But this is exactly what creates a different type of problem: why passengers with all modern sensors at the same air conditioning setting once get cold, secondly, comfortable, and thirdly, too hot.
Why the seats are almost without lateral support, why there is no handle, handles on the ceiling above any door, why, with all settings, the seats cannot be adjusted so as not to tire the back after a long ride. Why do you squeal when you gently turn the steering wheel from under the dashboard?
They will have to answer this question in Bimvi, but based on popularity, we believe that many things are a matter of human structure, some are a matter of taste and again a matter of habit, and some are a personal (automotive) case, and not a person. the whole look. And if so, then the answer is obvious: therefore. Hence the BMW and hence the X6 AH. Bad word!

A very good way to spend money if the owner enjoys dynamic and sporty driving. The drive, which works without fail, is extremely powerful and, accordingly, relatively modest in consumption. One of those man-made Bimways
