Installation of 1 terminals

The project involves the installation by IER, a subsidiary of the French Bolloré group, of about 1 terminals for recharging batteries for electric vehicles used on the streets of London. It should be noted that this initiative of the Breton company is ideally combined with the commitment of the municipality to create a thousand charging points for electric vehicles in all areas of the city.

Over 300 target sites

The authorities in the English capital have made it clear that the project is part of the deployment of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in Greater London. This network is called Source London. The initiators of the program clarify that about 300 sites will be affected. The City Council does recognize that residential shops, car parks and hospitals will be privileged to create such infrastructure. They will be available early in the second quarter of next year.

Autolib exported via Channel

The partnership, signed between the French firm and the British structure, includes the creation in the capital of London of an operating system for vehicles powered by electricity, such as Autolib in Paris. In addition to installing the charging infrastructure, the program provides for the supply of electric vehicles intended for public use and the equipment necessary for their operation. Bolloré's English subsidiary will try to manage everything related to subscriptions. This company will also take care of recharging the batteries. In addition, IER will provide after-sales service.
