Largus on-board computer: functions and description
The functionality of the on-board computer on the Lada Largus car is impressive compared to previous models of the VAZ family. A very useful thing on any car, where you can see almost all the characteristics of the car. For example, in the luxury configuration on the Lada Grant there is an on-board computer that shows such characteristics as:
- Current time, i.e. hours
- Fuel level in the tank
- engine temperature, i.e. coolant
- odometer and mileage of the car for one trip
In addition to these functions, there is fuel consumption, average and instantaneous, fuel remaining on the remaining fuel, as well as average speed.
And now I'll tell you a little about my impressions of fuel consumption, if you drive a car without sharp accelerations and without recklessness, then the BC readings are quite fair, but if you give the engine speed, then the BC is lying, and shows about a couple of liters less than the real fuel consumption.
And I checked all this very simply: I pour 10 liters of gasoline into the tank and note the odometer reading while driving in a measured style. And then, in the same way, I calculate the consumption only already with a frisky operation. And I see the discrepancy between the results of the real consumption and according to the readings of the on-board computer.
All readings of the BC are quite easy to read, and you do not need to get used to their location on the center console for a long time. And the dashboard itself is made conveniently without unnecessary troubles and is decorated in a pleasant style.
