BOS - Brake Interlock System

It is an active safety system capable of disengaging the accelerator when the brake is also applied.

BOS - Brake Lock System

This is a device connected to an electronic control unit, which recognizes the desire of the car driver to brake even when the accelerator pedal is pressed, acting on the “butterfly” of the pedal itself and turning off the power supply. BDS is triggered after half a second if simultaneous brake and accelerator operation is detected.

Fits on all Lexus vehicles.
