But Genesis, which launched in Australia in June, remains unflappable, CEO Manfred Fitzgerald revealed. Cars Guide that Infiniti's decision hadn't shattered his confidence.

“This is their decision, they must have a good reason for this,” he said. “And they broke out here, on the European market. We don't know where they're headed right now.

“I think we can always learn from other brands and see what they did really well, maybe not so well. Now we know what we do and we know where our strengths lie.”

"That didn't shake our confidence in the slightest."

Genesis, which launched in Australia in June after a significant delay believed to be related to the construction of the brand's flagship store in Sydney's CBD, currently only has G70 and G80 sedans in its fleet, but will soon add new SUVs to its fleet. . products to your portfolio.

By the end of August, the brand had reported 79 sales, a number that Mr. Fitzgerald says is still “gaining momentum.”

“Yes, it is gaining momentum. We still face the problem of awareness,” he says.
