Why Rocket 900?

The number 900 in the name of the new Mercedes Benz Brabus model stands for horsepower. As for the engine, the intake and exhaust system was redesigned, the cylinder block was bored, the turbines were replaced, and a specialized crankshaft from Brabus was installed. As a result, the volume of the engine increased to 6,3 liters.

The car is equipped with a 7-speed automatic, coupled with which, the new power unit from Brabus has increased its torque from 1000 to 1500 N / m. However, it should be said that the engineers limited the torque at 1200 N / m, in order not to create a serious load and, as a result, provide a longer resource for the technical parts of the car. However, this model has a software speed limit of 350 km / h, in contrast to the 250 km / h of the standard S-class model.

With regard to the chassis, air suspension is installed here, which allows the car to adjust the ground clearance in the range of 15 millimeters.
