Five new premium Battlax tires and innovation for all riders

Bridgestone, the world's largest tire and rubber manufacturer, returns to the 75th EICMA International Motorcycle Show in Milan from November 7-12 with an impressive presentation of its latest innovations.

The Bridgestone booth is sure to attract all categories of riders with at least five new Battlax tire models in the Touring, Adventure, Scooter and Racing segments.

These new products are created directly as part of Bridgestone's ongoing development program to ensure that motorcyclists always have the latest technology.

To fully understand the needs and expectations of motorcyclists, this development program is enriched by being entirely end-user focused through retail channels, dedicated online platforms, social media and Bridgestone's participation in motorsports.

EICMA 2017 will feature five new premium Battlax tires:

Battlax Racing R11: Attack Confidence on Lap Time

With a great combination of Bridgestone racing technology and new design features, the R11 gives supersport and hypersport riders the extra grip and contact they need to shorten lap times. With a new adjustable single-coil strap fitted to the front tire, an additional GP strap on the rear tire and a tread designed for maximum traction, the R11 enters a new era of racing tires.

Battlax Sport Touring T31: now you can be on the edge even on wet roads

In addition to improving stability and performance, Bridgestone has developed a new front tire compound for the T31 with greater flexibility. This improves a sense of stability on wet roads, giving drivers more confidence in poor road conditions. Providing more traction through more grip at all cornering angles takes the pleasure of Sport Touring motorcycles to a higher level, as dry handling is also improved on an equal footing. with large strides when driving on wet roads.

Battlax Adventure A41: Confident adventure in any conditions

Bridgestone enhances Battlax's Adventure performance with improved wet grip and handling on the A41 without compromising the performance of its predecessor, the A40. The package includes technology with a three-layer composition front and rear, with a cover and base configuration that improves cornering stability. Of particular interest to most Adventure riders, Bridgestone tests showed the new Battlax A8 to be 41% faster on wet roads, demonstrating the added performance and safety it would get on the road.

Battlax Scooter SC2: the sports tire for your maxi scooter

Back in the urban jungle, the new SC2 is focused on dry running with development based on the same technology as the Battlax Hypersport S21. Pattern design is engineered for optimum durability, surface contact and traction. At the rear, a tri-ply compound configuration combines the best of both worlds - high traction and abrasion resistance in the center of the tread for maximum mileage.

Battlax Scooter SC2 Rain: the everyday touring tire for maxi scooters

Bridgestone has introduced the new Battlax Sport-Touring T31 SC2 Rain wet-surface technology to provide maxi scooter riders with safety and confidence in changing weather. Wet handling is enhanced by a greater proportion of grooves in the tread pattern, which has been tuned to balance straight-line stability and fast maneuvering. New rubber compounds have been developed to provide an exceptional feeling of adhesion to cold and damp surfaces.
