Bridgestone Introduces Global Mobility Solutions

In his first speech at an exhibition in Las Vegas, he demonstrated a new generation of technology

Bridgestone, the world's largest tire and rubber company, announced it will be exhibiting for the first time at the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. January 2020 As part of its interactive demo, the company will focus on a number of mobile solutions that provide an autonomous future with a focus on increasing mobility, increasing security and increasing efficiency.

“The show offers Bridgestone a unique opportunity to showcase the company's transformation to become a leading trusted partner in mobility solutions,” said T.J. Higgins, vice president and chief strategy officer at Bridgestone.

“Bridgestone has a nearly 90-year history of applying technology and research to develop modern products, services and solutions for an ever-changing and changing world. Looking to the future, we combine our experience and knowledge in the field of tire development with a wide range of digital solutions, which allows us to offer appropriate products and services for safe and sustainable mobility, thereby contributing to the development of society. ”

During the exhibition, Bridgestone presents a number of high-tech mobile solutions, including:

• Bridgestone Airless Tires for Enhanced Mobility - Bridgestone builds on its 90-year leadership in product innovation by developing tires that provide safe, seamless mobility. During the show, the company will present its range of advanced airless tyres, personal mobility concepts and commercial fleet applications. Bridgestone will demonstrate the combination of tread and wheel in airless tires, which creates a stable structure with high strength. This design eliminates the need to inflate tires and virtually eliminates the dangers of flat tires. In addition, Bridgestone will showcase a lunar rover airless elastic tire and wheel solution that the company is currently developing for its international space mission.

• Proactive, intelligent tire technology with enhanced safety. Modern mobility technologies do not know what is happening in the tire and on the road surface, which is an obstacle to fully autonomous driving. Using his experience, sensors and serious modeling capabilities, Bridgestone solves this problem by creating a new generation analogue for tires. At the exhibition, the company will demonstrate how to use duplicated and digital technologies for connected buses to create specific, feasible forecasts that can improve the accuracy of car safety systems.

• Solutions to improve web fleet performance. The Bridgestone platform uses solutions and data to enable millions of vehicles to move with maximum efficiency. Visitors to the exhibition will have the opportunity to see the real modeling of the platform and see how telematics feed the connected automotive ecosystem, transforming global business strategies, increasing security and increasing cost-effectiveness.
