In 2012, the front-wheel drive minivan BYD M6 underwent restyling. The ready-for-sale model was shown at the Guangzhou Auto Show that same year. The changes turned out to be very symbolic - a different bumper, a radiator grille and headlights are installed in front. The same can be said for the interior.

TECH SPECS:

Under the hood, the car can get one of two internal combustion engines available for this model range. The first is a two-liter gasoline unit developed by BYD engineers. The engine received a fuel system with multi-point injection. The second motor was created under license from Japanese manufacturer Mitsubishi. This is a more powerful internal combustion engine with a turbocharger and a volume of 2.4 liters. This option can be forced.

For the first engine, a 5-speed manual transmission is used. The other two units are combined with a 6-speed manual, a 4-speed automatic or a 6-speed robotic gearbox.

EQUIPMENT

Several new options have appeared in the list of equipment in the minivan, for example, the monitor of a multimedia installation displays an image from the side and rear cameras. In addition to the already existing decent safety system (front airbags), the electronics have acquired an automatic door opening with an electric drive. The comfort system includes an air conditioner, an audio system (6 speakers + a radio with a USB port), as well as a minimum power package.
