Alpina Australia has released pricing and specifications for the updated version of the diesel XD3, with first deliveries of the mid-size SUV expected later this year.

These include redesigned front and rear fascias (with the Alpina logo), as well as a new 12.3-inch touchscreen and 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, all powered by the BMW iDrive7 infotainment system.

However, the XD3 stands out from the X3 xDrive30d crowd with its Alpina-tuned variable-ratio steering and adaptive suspension (with Comfort+ tuning), as well as 20-inch Classic alloy wheels (22-inch forged parts are optional).

Inside, the XD3 features a Lavalina leather steering wheel with blue/green stitching and heating, Piano Black trim, an Alpina build plate, and branded floor mats and treadplates.
