The GWM Ute range has been expanded with an additional 4x2 option to keep costs down a bit.

GWM has updated prices and specifications for its Cannon double cab range, which now includes an entry-level 4x2 version.

The Ute line has a fielding price that is now $33,490 for the base 4×2. Representing a $1000 price reduction from the previous 4×4 base and a $2000 price reduction for the new 4×4 base, the base 4x2 version includes 18-inch alloy wheels, faux leather seats, 9.0-inch multimedia touchscreen with Apple. CarPlay and Android Auto, basic air conditioning and a rearview camera, and a well-equipped safety package including automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assist and adaptive cruise control.

Meanwhile, the base 4×4 has a permanent all-wheel drive system and carries a new starting price of $35,490 while maintaining the same equipment level as before. This is the second price increase for the Cannon line since its launch.

Next in line is the 4x4-only Cannon-L, which now costs $38,990, up $1000 from its previous price. The Cannon L adds 18-inch alloy wheels in a different design, a sports bar and bath liner, a 360-degree parking camera, heated driver-adjustable power front seats, and single-zone climate control.

The top of the Ute line is the Cannon-X, now priced at $41,990, again $1000 more than the previous price. Cannon-X adds a black interior, upgraded interior trim, a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, a wireless phone charger, as well as front passenger seat power adjustment.

While the basic 4×2 version provides a slight cost savings for potential buyers, nothing is yet known about the single cab version that has been seen in tests in the past and was announced as a special off-road single cab version that was launched in China early on. this year.
