2022 Porsche Cayenne price and features: New Platinum Edition takes the BMW X5 and X6, plus the Mercedes-Benz GLE wagon and coupe to the next level
The Platinum Edition is available in six variants of the Cayenne.
Porsche Australia has added a new Platinum Edition class to its already extensive range of large Cayenne SUVs, with deliveries expected to begin in mid-2022.
The Platinum Edition is available in the Cayenne, Cayenne S, and Cayenne E-Hybrid, in both wagon and coupe body styles, starting at $145,000 plus on-road expenses and going up to $172,800 (see full pricing table below).
While the Cayenne Coupe S is actually $4000 cheaper in the Platinum Edition, the other five versions get $5000-$16,900 more expensive when upgraded.
So what do Platinum Edition buyers get to stand out from the Cayenne crowd? Well, a satin platinum finish is applied to the front air intake slats, 21-inch RS Spyder Design alloy wheels, "Porsche" lettering on the rear and a badge on the tailgate.
In addition, the Platinum Edition has black window surrounds and sports tailpipes with two solid colors (white and black), four metallic ones (pitch black, carrara white, mahogany and moonlight) and one special (pencil) paint option.
