Price for new Datsun

As is customary in our country, the car has not even entered serial production yet, thousands of analysts are already discussing its characteristics and estimated prices for the new product. We are seeing the same thing with the new model of the VAZ, or rather the Nissan concern - Datsun. Why such interweaving of manufacturers? Yes, because in fact, the new Datsun is all the same old VAZ, the same as Kalina or Grant. Even if you look with the naked eye, you can see 95% similarity in the body and interior, and 99% of the engine and suspension will come from our receivers.

As for the prices for the new Datsun, there is no exact and official data yet. But marketers suggest that the lower limit for which it will be possible to buy a sedan will be from 380 to 400 thousand rubles. At first it may seem that for a budget Japanese car, the price is quite low. But if you dig deeper, then the question arises: Why pay almost 100 thousand from the bare “Standard” Grants here?

Agree, the almost 30 percent markup should somehow justify itself in addition to the name and emblem on the radiator grille and steering wheel. Indeed, even the engineers themselves and the creators of this car say that the parts of the suspension, transmission, engine and 95% of the body will be identical. And as they put it, all of this will have a more different setting. But how can this be? It turns out that you will have to pay such a high price for setting up the same components as at the VAZ !?

Yes, Dastun's trunk will be slightly larger than that of the Granta receiver, but this is also not a great reason to raise prices like that! In general, it is too early to talk about the cost of the car in the showroom yet, and it will be possible to judge only after real tests and reviews. There is very little time left to wait, since already in September Datsun will be sold in 25 dealerships throughout Russia, and in the future the points of sale will expand significantly. It is then that you can draw any final conclusions.
