Audi Australia has confirmed pricing for its all-electric e-Tron GT Grand Touring sports car in standard and RS versions.
Priced from $171,900 pre-road for the GT or $249,700 for the RS, first deliveries of Australian examples are scheduled for September.
Sharing its platform and technology with the Porsche Taycan, the e-Tron GT has a 93kWh battery with 800V architecture providing a range of 488km and charging up to 270kW, one of the fastest charging speeds of any electric vehicle on the market. .
Audi says charging with a maximum output of 270 kW will add 100 km of range in just five minutes, or charge from 80 to 22.5 percent in XNUMX minutes.
Public charging is also achieved at up to 22 kW, which is the highest rate available on AC power. Audi is offering customers a six-year Chargefox subscription.
With twin electric motors delivering 350kW/630Nm in the GT version or 440kW/830Nm in the RS version, the e-Tron GT RS is the fastest production Audi ever built.
The rear engine is the more powerful of the two and is paired with a two-speed gearbox that can be completely disengaged when the car is in economy mode to maximize efficiency.
The RS is priced at $249,700 excluding travel expenses.
