Iveco introduced the updated Daily van this week. The commercial model features updated styling and increased levels of equipment across the extensive lineup.

Affecting the conventional rear-wheel drive van, single cab chassis and double cab chassis, the update reveals an updated front grille with a horizontal louvered appearance, replacing the previous "honeycomb" look. In addition, the new design improves engine cooling efficiency.

Each variant can be paired with either a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed Hi-Matic automatic transmission, the latter featuring a redesigned oil-air cooler and a new two-speed fan, as well as a chrome front grille.

Three Euro 5 diesel engines are available, including a 13-litre 2.3-litre single turbo with 93 kW from 3000-3500 rpm and 320 Nm from 1800-2500 rpm, and a 17-litre 3.0-cylinder single-turbo with 125 kW in the range of 2900-3500 rpm. and 430 Nm at 1500-2600 rpm, as well as a 20-liter twin-turbo engine with a power output of 3.0 kW at 150-3100 rpm and 3500 Nm at 470-1400 rpm.

Two versions are offered - the 35S and 50C - of the regular van, with the former available with all three powertrains, while the latter can only be combined with the 17-liter "20" and "3.0" variants.

Seven volume options are offered, including 7.3, 11, 12, 16, 18 and 3000 cubic meters, with a wheelbase of 3520mm, 4100mm or XNUMXmm.

A version of the regular 70C van has been added, with a segment-leading gross weight of 7000 kg and a wheelbase of 4100 mm. The 70C is also equipped with a unique Euro6 3.0-litre "18" turbodiesel that delivers 133kW and 430Nm. It is available with three volumes - 16, 18 or 19.6 cubic meters.

All Dailys come standard with four airbags, electronic brakeforce distribution, electronic stability control, rollover protection, rollover protection, trailer sway protection, traction control, front and rear disc brakes, ABS, four-speaker audio system, Bluetooth and daytime running lights.

A 6.2-inch touchscreen multimedia system with sat-nav and rear-view camera is optional on all Daily models, except for the 70C van variants, where it is standard.
