Fitting a cover to a child car seat can take a long time if you do not follow the correct gestures when putting it back on. Follow our step-by-step instructions to securely fit your car seat cover.

Step 1: Put on the first part of the cover.
Always start by placing the first part of the cover at the level of the child seat. It fits easily behind the seat belts that hold it in place.
Step 2: Install the second part
The second part of the cover is larger in size and is attached to the clips for the baby's neck. Holding it on each side, attach the metal caps to the back of the car seat. Then insert these end pieces past the beginning of the seat at the top.
Step 3: isolate the seat belt button
The rest of the cover can be fitted by insulating the seat belt button, which can go through the cutout provided for this purpose. Velcro pieces can be attached to each other to ensure that the cover is perfectly flush with the bottom of the seat.

If you have the technical sewing skills, you can easily sew a car seat cover for a baby or toddler yourself. This is not recommended as car seat covers must match ECE norm 44/4 withstand flammability test.
There are several templates available on the Internet, but for greater accuracy, we recommend that you measure with a tape measure.

It is advisable to remove the car seat from the mountings to make it easier to remove the cover. Depending on the model of your car seat cover, you will have to start with remove fixed metal parts either behind or on the sides of the latter.
This way, you can completely remove it in a few minutes, just to put it in the washing machine and then reinstall it once it's dry.
