What can cause engine wear over time

It is important that you maintain your car well so that the engine is always in optimal conditions, although there are certain situations in which it stops losing power.

Although you can take your car in for service, the engine wears out over time, either from use or damage to other parts of the unit, which ultimately affects engine performance.

These could be some reasons why the engine stops working:

1- Clogged and forgotten filters: air and fuel

One of the first that can begin to affect the power of a car's engine are the various filters that are in the car, such as oil, gasoline, since small particles or some impurities may remain with each replacement. The air filter also plays an important role in engine wear.

The fuel filter can also affect the life of the engine in the long run, so it is important that when this part of the car is changed, it is done by specialized people so that it does not fit perfectly and does not leave any part that affects.

2- Ignition systems in poor condition

If these ignition systems, such as spark plugs, coils, and wiring, are in good condition, you can extend the life of the engine, otherwise they will reduce its power. Spark plugs are the key to good engine condition.

3- Engine performance

Worn or broken injectors, fuel pumps, and lines are a poor combination for the operation and performance of car engines.

That's why it's important that you always service and maintain your vehicle and use quality materials so you don't damage your engine and avoid headaches and having to spend a lot of money on repairs.
