What is a tank saw?

The miter saw is essentially an earlier version of the bow saw.

It has a long blade with large teeth in a wooden frame. However, unlike the bow saw, it has an H-shaped frame rather than a curved one. While the angle grinder was designed for smaller spaces, the circular saw was designed for larger projects.

Even though the circular saw has been around for centuries, it's unlikely you'll find one on a shelf at your local DIY store.

However, the front saw is still in use, especially in North America, and many people make their own from wire and old bits of kindling.
