What are drainage augers and gully grabs?

Drain augers | |
 | Drain augers consist of a long, thin spool with an auger head at one end. They are fed into the affected drainage system to catch and remove soft blockages or stuck objects. Prickly drainage sweeps | |
 | The prickly drain cleaner is a piece of plastic with spikes and a handle. It screws into the plug holes at a short distance to remove any clumps of hair and push through other blockages. Gully grips | |
 | Another tool designed exclusively for outdoor drains is the ravine grab. It has a bucket at the end of a long rod that is powered by a system of pulleys at the opposite end.
