When you install, you want to replace your car's stereo system with a new one or a screen, you need to purchase a dashboard kit to make the modification flawless. This auto part gives you the space you need and leaves a great look.

- Hairdryer or heat gun.

Once you have determined that the pieces fit together, you can begin the actual installation process. Chances are you got some sort of alcohol-based cleanser and/or pads; this can be used to clean the inside surfaces of the dashboard and trim so that the adhesive will adhere to the new dash kit. 

If there is any liquid protectant such as Armor All make sure you remove all protectant so that the new dashboard kit can properly stick to the surface. If it feels slippery or oily to the touch, keep rubbing until you get a rough, dry texture.

After cleaning, the adhesion promoter can be applied to the surface of the dashboard interior trim. Be sure to apply adhesive only to all areas where you will be installing the trim included in the kit, and not to the trim parts of the dashboard.

The glue should dry in about 1-5 minutes, depending on the glue manufacturer. dashboard kit.

If you are working below 80ºF, it is highly recommended to use a heat gun first to make the dashboard trim parts pliable. To install kit elements, first start with a smaller element and partially remove the masking tape from the trim element. Then carefully align the piping and remove the tape backing while holding the piping in the correct position. Then stick the dashboard trim firmly to the surface. Repeat this process for all parts of the dashboard kit and the installation is complete. 

For a finished look, wipe off any fingerprints or excess adhesive from the front of the dashboard with a clean, soft cloth.
