 | The straight blade design ensures that parts do not slip off the top of the gauge when measuring clearance. The constant width prevents parts from slipping off the sensor walls. Therefore, the surfaces do not converge at the edges of the tool. (Straight gauges are useful for setting wide parallel gaps.) |
