Citroen expands its line of Premium models. After the city kid and the family compact, it's time for the sports wagon. Its goal is to attract supporters of "assertive and rich" models of the representative line.

The car unveiled at the Shanghai Motor Show was stylistically based on the C-SportLounge prototype and technologically based on the Peugeot 508 platform. At the front, Citroen features a grille with Citroen logo curved chrome trim strips and lancet headlights with LED high beams. They also have a chrome trim strip. It runs along their top edge and then along the edge of the engine hatch, curving up along the edge of the door. A chrome strip also runs along the bottom edge of the door, starting at a small pillar at the end of the front bumper. It's also hard to miss the creases that wavy from the fender over the wheels through the top of the door to the rear fender. At the rear, the character of the car is created by flat tailpipes in the lower part of the bumper and taillights overlapping the fenders with triple LED lights in lance-shaped shades. The A-pillars are hidden under tinted windows, which, combined with the sloping roof and side pleats, give the sports car silhouette a slight hint of a coupe.

Citroen tried to bring this character inside, claiming that the layout of the center console and the position of the steering wheel reflect the spirit of Gran Turismo cars. It must be admitted that the console has a rather unusual, asymmetric layout, in which the most important controls are placed on the driver's side. The control panel on a wide tunnel between the front seats is also characteristic. In addition to the gear lever and the hybrid mode knob, next to it is a control panel with "ribs" formed by the eye-opening buttons and the electric handbrake button. You can't see this in the photos, but according to the car's information, there is another control panel in the cabin, located in an aviation style above the driver's head. There are also more unusual solutions. The instrument panel consists of three parts, with a chrome surround more clearly highlighting the side parts than the middle one, which has a speedometer that shows the car's speed digitally and with a traditional gauge. Between the instrument panel and the air intakes in the upper part of the center console is a clock in the form of a vertically oriented narrow rectangle, under which is the "Start" button. When pressed, the cabin is immersed in a delicate glow of white and red light, and the main information is displayed on the windshield, where it is displayed on the projection display.

The atmosphere of cosiness and elegance is brought by club chairs covered with woven leather, reminiscent of the straps of old watches. The center console is also upholstered in leather. Used black leather stitched with silver thread. The finishes are also in Markass ebony and the glossy surfaces are finished with multiple layers of lacquer. The body length of 4,52 m and a width of 1,85 m is designed for comfortable accommodation of 5 people. There is still room for a luggage compartment with a volume of 465 liters.

The car has a hybrid drive HYbrid4 with a capacity of 200 hp. and all-wheel drive - front-wheel drive from an internal combustion engine, HDi turbodiesel, and rear-wheel drive - electric. When driving around the city, you can use only the electric drive, and outside it, you can use the boost function, which increases productivity. Carbon dioxide emissions should be limited to an average of 4 g/km.
