DAC - Hill Descent Assist System

It is an auxiliary device when driving downhill and therefore increases traction. Toyota models with automatic transmission have a driver assist function when driving downhill. This function requires the brake control computer to automatically apply the brakes on the 4 wheels to maintain a constant speed when driving downhill.

DAC - Hill Descent Assist

When activated with the appropriate button, the DAC control system maintains a constant vehicle speed while driving downhill, preventing the wheels from locking up due to low traction. The driver should only take care of the steering, not using the brake or accelerator pedal.
