DD - Dynamic drive

An active suspension system that acts directly on the vehicle's tuning, providing greater stability. In DD there is a BMW system, which consists in the ability to regulate the connection between the wheels of one axle according to a given law, acting on the anti-roll bar.

Roll is zeroed in the lateral acceleration range up to 0,3g. On a straight line, the wheels are much more independent for maximum comfort, which cannot be done with a conventional anti-roll bar, which does not “read” lateral acceleration. With DD, the control is continuous, and the electronics also regulate the "braking" of the shock absorbers: in essence, it creates forces on the frame to counteract the loss of stability.
