Children's Books for Fun - Recommended Titles!

What to look for when choosing children's books? What content will be the most relevant for them? Looking through the many titles of educational books, you may forget that…reading is fun! Here are some tips to show your child through humor that reading can be great fun!

When a child becomes an inquisitive reader, it is easier for him to regulate his emotions, understand the world around him, get acquainted with books, develop imagination, and he can also practice making decisions when choosing favorite titles. There are many advantages, but the most important thing is to find books for children that will interest and appeal to a young audience.

"Zuzanna" by Elana K. Arnold (reader ages: 4-5)

“Which came first: chicken or friendship?” What would happen if the pet became ... a chicken!? Can a hen lay an egg when called? Or maybe it can recognize human faces? The answers to these questions can be found in the story of Suzanne, who one day brings a chicken into her house, and since then the life of her family has completely changed. Golden Hen becomes a domestic chicken, wears the diapers of Honey, Zuzia's younger sister, plays sports and enjoys massages.

This two-volume book, thanks to its original humor and ridiculous situations, remains in memory for a long time. Cute and extremely smart, Zuzanna can become the favorite of many children. Anyone who once wanted to bring home a pet they met will surely understand the heroine perfectly. Beautiful illustrations, an adorable image of the animal, language jokes, and lots of interesting chicken facts make for a delightful read. Zuzanna Volume, Birthdaycake will also have something for other animal lovers.

"Malvinka and Lucy", Kasia Keller, (reader age: 4–5 years)

Long live the power of imagination! - this is the motto of all the volumes of "Malvinka and Lucy", i.e. adorable stories about a four-year-old heroine and her plush llama. Malvinka has a vivid imagination, which allows her to travel to distant lands as soon as adults stop looking. The girl is able to turn the bath into the ocean, be on the edge of the rainbow and move to fabulous countries. She teaches you to find magic in everyday objects and enjoy everyday life, while fun word games and a world full of colors and toys do not let you resist the charm of her imagination.

The series is not only interesting adventures in amazing lands, but also wise highlights that teach self-acceptance and a healthy relationship with the environment. In addition, the stories about Malvinka are a good starting point for a general search for laughter and fun, as well as an awareness of what is beautiful.

"A bunch of furry people" by Nathan Luff (reader age: 6-8 years old)

A story about a dangerous gang capable of cracking down on any opponent - at least according to Bernard, the protagonist of this two-volume set. In fact, a bunch of furry people rarely achieve their intended goal, but often they manage to do something else, most often ... safely avoiding trouble. This unusual gang includes: Bernard, an extremely intelligent ram, Wilus, whose fringe is too long in the world, and Shama Lama, who likes to spit on Ben to approve of his great jokes (at least according to him).

The action of "Gangs of furry people" keeps in suspense thanks to continuous missions and funny characters. Minizoo is a place where humor plays the main role, and word games and cruel bad luck do not leave the heroes. The story is intended for slightly older readers, but thanks to its short chapter divisions, large print, interesting illustrations, and semi-comic form, it makes an excellent introduction to independent reading.

A story about friendship with an unusual pet, a magical land of imagination, or the ridiculous adventures of an unusual gang will make a child smile. This is a signal that the correct book has been selected. Now it remains only to choose the most suitable postures and use their power - after all, laughter is good for health!
